FAQ
1. Can I rent a boat in Paxos, Ionian with or without a captain?
Renting a boat in Greece does not require a speed boat license for engines up to 30 HP. For boats with larger engines, very good experience, and a speedboat license from the country of residence are required.
2. What to combine with the boat rental in Sivota?
Usually, since the boat rental is daily, our guests combine boating with a nice lunch in Sivota or a picnic on an isolated beach.
3. Which beaches to visit?
Nearby getaways include
bella vraka, pisina (blue lagoon), plakaries, diapori, spilies (caves), nisakia (sivota islands) while in Paxos: Marmari, Kipos, Kipiadi, Lakkos, Kaki Lagada, Levrechio, Orkos, Monodendri, etc. On the west, you can get lost in the nature and visit Mousmouli, Avlaki, Galazio, etc. While in Ssivota you should not miss Voutumi, Vrika and Rodovani. We will share more secrets with you in person.
4. What are the biggest ports of Paxos?
The main port of Paxos is in Gaios, and then, you will find small harbors where you can moor your boat, in Lakka, Loggos, Mogonissi and the harbour of Agrapidia in Antipaxos.
5. Is it expensive to rent a boat in Sivota? How much does it cost?
